Sorry, don't have one of me on it yet. I'll see if I can get someone to take one tomorrow. Then you can also put a name to a face.

Well sorry but it pissed it down yesterday. So today I organised a ride out with my uncle.

Just a few pics we took before.

Yeah you're right, a 250 would look pretty stupid with your size. I prefer your uncles ninja though.. Where did you go to ride it?

From their house on the outskirts of Gainsborough we rode to a place called Willingham Woods (kinda the place bikers go) - Here.

The journey has some great corners in it. (located here)

All in all, was a good day out.

Andrew.

Thats a nice bit of rode you have there. Wouldn't mind having a blast down there myself.

Seriously, go for it! You'll love it.

Only thing about today's ride was the wind being a right bastard!

Had a couple of moments, due to lack of experience in those conditions.

Also, promised you a photo for the name, but I forgot to take one with my helmet off. Neutral

So here are a couple.

First is a few years old but funny none the less (real too!)

http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/8044/me0013er8.png

The second is about 2 years old but is one of the few I have.

http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/9192/dsc00006wa3.jpg

Finally, the third I took about 2 minutes ago, Smile.

http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/4665/dsc00213copyer2.jpg

... I wonder if anyone else is brave enough to post a picture of themselves? .. hmm, could make a good thread; probably is one already.. lol

Dude, you lost some weight there. Your face is a lot skinnier.

That's the biggest crotch rocket I've seen.

Aye, tell me about it.

Had an operation on my lung since it popped. Lost loads of weight in hospital.

At the moment I only weigh 11 and a bit stone Neutral.

Seeing a dietitian so hopefully I can raise it up.

Edited: typo's.

Nice bike, not very powerful considering the engine size (I was expecting more than what it produces, still ample enough though) but I can see its chucks out a lot of torque. Sounds great as well.

How's the Buell overall, in terms of economy, maintenance, etc? I've been looking at Harley's, and Victory's for a while, but there's something about Buell that I like, and I am considering something like the 'Blast' just to tool around town. However, it's hard to get real opinions around my area, because few people here own them.

It gets about 50 mpg stock, with my exhaust mod it gets about 40 mpg but about 25 more HP. Its alot of fun to ride and make the kids around here look like fools on their little 600cc bikes. There are only two people that ride Buell Firebolts within 500 miles of according to the H.O.G. registry. It performs extremely well, like I said no one on a foreign bike except for the GSXR1000's and the Busas can compete with me. Handles turns extremely well do to center mounted exhaust. All around fun (fast) bike.

I am so jealous..

But please, don't forget I am 19 and this is my first bike. For a first bike, I think a 600cc is quite on the big side of engines.

Love the look of buell's..

My dad is restoring a 1974 Kawasaki KZ900. It has a 160 speedo, and the guy that my dad bought it from said that he took it that fast. The gear ratio on that thing is insane. But they didn't put it on the KZ1000. If they did, it would have kicked the 900s ass so bad. $4500 and you can have it.

*the carbs need major cleaning, the shims need to be redone, and one of the exhaust looks like crap.
