hello all i hope that i posted my topic at the right section.
i cant seem to open my dds file with photoshop i placed dxt tools at the photoshop plug-in's folder then it says that it could not open the file as it is not the right document please help me T.T

It would help if you could provide a screenshot of it or give the details of what it says.

Download the DXT tools from the Nvidia website and this time download the INSTALLER. Then it will work.

try what i did jsut place the folder with the files in it into your plugin folder...NOT FILE FORMATS

so like

C:\program files\adobe\photoshop cs3\plugin\DTX tools and have the files inside that folder

I told you there IS an installer and it's this one:
