Which title excites you the most?[ 37 votes ]
1. StarCraft II 5 / 14%
2. Red Alert III 19 / 51%
3. Both! 7 / 19%
4. Don't care for RTS games 6 / 16%

So which one are you all looking forward to? StarCraft II has no release date but seems just about done. And Red Alert III has it's beta over the summer thru September to select players. Both games will be out and enjoyed by millions by this time next year; though it seems both games will be released late this year itself.

Personally, I can't wait to play StarCraft II. I am a new convert to StarCraft having picked up the original game/expansion a month ago. I am at the last Terran mission to take out the Ion cannon. So far no success with 2 failed attempts and the Renegade addiction doesn't help things either but yeah, StarCraft is pretty slick. I am enjoying it.

I am kinda allergic to 3D RTS games so I am hoping all turns out fine with these 2 new upcoming titles.

The water textures in RA3 looks fantastic! You can see the sea floor as well as the wrecked ships.

But long way to go still!

EDIT: I am all excited for StarCraft II though can't wait to come play RA III with those furious hot Soviet gunships!

I'm looking forward to playing StarCraft 2. Red Alert 3 will probably be a nice novelty to play.

You have to pump out about 10 Marines and 3 Siegetanks fast and keep pressure on the first base, eventually eliminating it. Then build a base there. Dont forget to buy Explorerships to get detection against nukes (2 explorerships, no more, not much gas on the map). There's another free mineral&gas spot somewhere which you'll have to take to. Then you've already pretty much won, you can either nuke the northern base to death with ghosts or mass an assault army with >8 Trooptransports and try to takeo ver the ion cannon that way.

StarCraft 2 looks pretty nice, and Red Alert 3's graphics looks epic, but I'm afraid of it being "all show and no go"

Really, my computer probably won't be able to handle Red Alert 3 (Like the 2 or 3 other games that I have and don't work), but I don't know about StarCraft 2.

I'm not really looking forward to either game, but I am looking forward to buying stocks in Kimchi manufacturers because Korea will literally shut down for a month or six when Starcraft II is released.

Defiantly Red Alert 3, because: it is cnc game, there is a russian faction, and it is awesome. I will defiantly buy it!

At this point since all EA RTS games turn out to be crap(I know so don't bother trying to get me to change my mind) I don't really care for RTS games(and I'm not too interested in Starcraft2 since SC1 wasn't that interesting to me).

The RA3 video doesn't look too bad. The game itself looks very "flowing" and everything seems to move around in someway or another. It looks pretty fun I'd say.

I have to agree with you there, all the recent RTS titles I have seen coming out of EA have been chock full of eye candy while being horribly lacking in actual gameplay.

Funny how I missed this but when I read it I thought "wtf stupid enough?" I like RA2 much better nice and simple!

PS. I read about those things that shoot out people, wtf is next in this stupid game? Buildings that can be built on water(other than the factory that makes boats), oh yea that's right they thought of that too I guess all they need to finish the stupidity of this game is dolphins that can go on land and fly.

Could just be that trailer but RA3 doesn't look all super high graphics to me.

Anyhoo, Im looking forward to RA3 (never played starcraft before) however if it turns out like CNC3 I probably wont play it for long. I think I played CNC3 for like 5 hours non-stop then just got really really bored of it and now the cd is just collecting dust...
