Run it only select "WOLAPI" when it asks for the file path delete the one that is there and enter this one: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Internet
then install should work after that is done I believe.

Happens to me aswell
its missing a Wolapi file which i need that too.
I install the C&C TFD and renegade still dont work some of the other like corrupted files on vista.other C&C TFD games do have problems too.
I dont think its vista compatible

I have this exact same problem on my laptop. The strange thing is, I have Renegade up and running on my PC perfectly fine using the very same TFD disc and same installation methods, except that I manually installed the core patches on my PC. My PC and Laptop both run the same version of Vista. Yet my laptop keeps giving me this Westwood online error as well, and I can't comprehend why it would work on my PC but not here.
I MIGHT be willing to uninstall TFD Renegade and try using my original Renegade version. On my PC, I tried those CDs first but encountered some wierd problems, so I uninstalled them and used the TFD Renegade install. Maybe those Westwood components from the older Renegade stayed and fixed the TFD version? Then again that's a long shot because old Renegade and TFD Renegade install into different folders.

I've also been trying that, but I can't figure out what exaclty it is you want me to download. Both this link and the one in the FAQ lead to the site's homepage, not a specific file.

Ermmm hmmmm you need the APB free dedicated server, and then install the WOL components through it.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord
