Hmhmh, I think a mix of the 2 idea's would be the best option (spoons and the battle prime time), im thinking have 1 host (2 is too difficult), introduce the game, and then play clips (or a part of) a 1v1 or 2v2 of feild, (I could fraps, I already got alot of video's (most on youtube already)), 2 people narrate what exactly is going on, the vechs, tactics being used, possisble outcomes, etc, and then maybe a publuc server like jelly game, and then a conclusion by the host. Something like this in my mind can take maybe even only a week and only requires:
-1 host (with camera, "studio", or webcam with software)
-2 commentatories (2 cw.cc people because they know tactics)
-fraps'r, video software and server with !spectate (I know how to use all 3, and so do other people)
-teamspeak server to record everything while its going on (2 commentatores, and the fraps'r.
-someone with sony vegas, etc skills (im ok) to put it all together.

I had thought that the commentator would be me and a special guest each week - someone from the server, the leader of the community-match team, someone from the clan, etc...

Besides some of the more devout Renegade community members, who else will really be watching?
The host(s) would have to be charismatic, and able to keep the viewer entertained throughout the video's duration; he or she will also have to appeal to wide markets like the United States, England, and Europe. How well this will work will likely depend on the host's ability to 'sell' their act, and make it interesting.
People are fickle, so any dry moments will likely mean the viewer will click the big red 'x' , and move to watching angry cats on YouTube. Others might just prefer to play the game, instead of watching other people play.
