Simple thing that might help out:
press F8,
then type "nur 30" <enter> (without the "")
That could help a bit, also, try playing on servers with NUR 30 on the serverside and in europe.
I know for a fact that the BlackIntel server and TheKOSs2 server have these settings, so you could have a look to see if the lag is less there. If it is, then apparently the server where you usually play on is either too far away (USA) or is badly configured.
