I have Jasc Paint Shop Photo 5 and i cant figure out where to put dds.8bi. I couldnt find any folders with the program related to plugins or formats. I put the file in the general directory of it, went to XCC mixer and took a random .dds file and put it on my desktop. I use "Open with" Jasc Paint Shop Photo 5 and when it opens it says "Cannont open file whatever"
Any ideas?

Im using Gimps and i tried to edit 18_laser_beam assuming its the laser rifle shot, but it stays the same color. I editted a .dds file for the menu screen and it worked so i know im doing it in the right way. Do you know y the laser edit wont work?

I edit the file.
File>Save As> I scroll down to .dds
I select DXT1 or T5 accordingly and i check Generate MinMips(or whatever)
I saved it to a folder on my desktop and from there i copy it to my rendata.
But the changes arent working i tried with the sbh laser and the orca skin.

Dont suppose you could quickly edit a .dds file, like the orca skin.
Just edit it by using colorize, and make a video of it jsut to make sur eim saving it correctly and shit.
