It means renegade is trying to set your bandwidth lower then the server owner would want on his server. I assume you're using WOL. Goto the login screen and move your mouse to the left, goto option/settings and somewhere in there should be an option for your bandwidth. It probably says its on 56k. Change this to T1/Lan. This will stop the messages and stop you from getting weird lag.
