If troop wants to blow his load to 1v1's, there's nothing wrong with that.
But there's nothing wrong with the people that make or play that RPG either. If anything, they're helping to keep a few people around on Renegade.
Plus, trooprm02 plays World of Warcraft, and wanted to host a server for it, so I dunno what he's yammering on about in the first place. Aren't WoW and that ReneRPG kind of similar?

Actually, WoW and Rp2 is completely different. The most you can do that is similar to WoW in Rp2 is the official server. It has a leveling and exp mechanic which allows you to, of course, over time gain exp from kills and such and level up, giving you higher armor and health, and better weapons and equipment. It all depends on what job you go to (things like marines, mercenary, terrorist, ninja, etc to name a few)
It's absolutely nothing like WoW if you look at it from a technical aspect though. The main thing people seem to use is 'lol y would u want to pretend 2 be someone else' which I am actually in agreement there, it's stupid to have someone going all OK LOL LETS RP, ILL BE UR AUNT AND UR COMIN ON A TRIP 2 SEE ME OMG NO KILLING.
If someone does that, that's when I go and blow the fuck out of them with some form of large weapon.
Rp2 is mostly about killing. The server makes it about killing, leveling and money.
It all sounds like a misconception or something, I guess it is; I'm just really tired of hearing everyone going LOL RP'ING IS FOR NEEEEEEEEERDS. Because hey, when you're playing a video game as a character that is obviously not you, aren't you role-playing in some shape or form anyway?
