This apparently has just started on me recently, as I was playing fine yesterday(technically today since it was like 1 AM). Around that time, I was playing on the FUD Brass Rat server, and just as the game was about to end, I get a "Server Shut Down" message. I asked mahkra if he had gotten the same, to which his response was yes. With the other messages on the boards, I just assumed that WOL had gone down for the time being...
Just now, not even 10 minutes ago, I tried booting up Renegade and I was immediately confronted with the BSoD(for the uninformed, blue screen of death). I thought nothing of it because I get those dreaded screens every once in awhile, so I restarted and tried again. Same thing. Third time, I deleted my entire Renegade directory and got out the game disc so I could do a fresh install of the game. Upon clicking the Setup file on the disc, I get the BSoD again. I'm going to see if I missed any critical driver updates for my graphics card or whatnot, but if that doesn't solve the problem, can anyone think of something that I could try? Thanks.
