Please don't make sensationalist false claims when you clearly have not made an effort to understand the philosophy behind Atheism. I thoroughly resent this false statement you made as it is the highest form of intellectual injustice that is targeted at Atheists and Agnostics today.

Yeah, because if we think we are the highest life forms, then we are automatically arrogant right?

FYI, the knowledge that we are the highest life form leads to humbleness and the highest level of responsibility as human beings rather than a feeling of arrogance as you falsely claim. Claims such as yours are the usual garbage thrown at Atheists by religious folks; the same self-righteous folks who claim the world is full of sinners in need of salvation (like as if there are no other problems to solve).

Also, I feel more responsible as an Agnostic than I ever was as a Christian. And I was a devout Christian at that. But I was indifferent; I saw the world as sinners and believers just as you do today. You can't go about solving the world's problems with that attitude. As an Agnostic, I see EVERONE as a human being and have a greater respect for human life, the world we live in, the environment that we must protect for future generations and the animal species that must be preserved. There is no place for "the earth is going to end" bull.

I feel disgusted when Bible thumpers get all excited and hyped up when Israel goes to war because apparently these are the "end-times."

Since when do people feel humble when they view themselves as superiors? The VAST MAJORITY of people with power are arrogant fucktards. Very few people are humbled by the power of which they hold.

I realize that I omitted the question mark, but I thought it was clear that it was just a simple question on the flip side of what you were arguing. Thanks for blowing it out of proportion as if that's meant to be some attack. Who's being the sensationalist, now?

Just because you've come to regret your upbringing doesn't mean you're any more stable mentally than you were as a devout Christian. Ever think that you possibly hold the same arrogance as you did then? It sure looks like it to me. Then, perhaps, it's not the religion that made you arrogant. Maybe it's just you.

Oh, and don't ever think you can label me as a Bible thumper. Again, that just shows your blatant arrogance on the issue. Everybody who disagrees with you MUST be a Bible thumper because why else would people disagree. Right? Wrong. I'm a Theist, thank you very much. I don't believe in the Bible anymore, but that doesn't mean I'm going to start bashing Christians for believing what they do. You, for whatever fucked up reason (ie. arrogance), feel that it's your job to keep up your rebellion. Good job, you're certainly making Atheism and Agnosticism more attractive world views.

Oh, and again, you only need to look no further than yourself to see that your claim of humbleness is defeated.
