I play it occasionaly but not really as much as Renegade and Planetside. I bought the game when it was released (pre-ordered) and installed it. I played the China campaign to about mission 5 then never played the game for around 2 months after it because I was playing Renegade. Even now i rarely play it.

What is the Alt+F4 crap. I know you can do it in normal play and I guess you can in multiplayer. I take it does something like exit from the multiplayer game and record no disconnect?

Heh i play generals every day and continute to make mods for the damn game. modding it and changing stuff about it every day kinda keeps me going. does any one know if there will be a new c&c based first person shooter?

My old lady pre-bought it for me for X-Mas. I got and beat all the missions and got all the medals. I beat the game many a time on brutal level and thought i was so bad-assed. Then I went online and got my butt stomped several times. I guess human players are a little more creative than a computer. Then I started playing Renegade online and haven't played it since.

I think Generals is a terrible game, no storyline, unrealistic units, the US can lose.... BUT, the game engine is nearly perfect, and it uses w3d so it's even possible to take something from Renegade and put it in Generals, and they actually got the aircraft physics right (first time since RA1)

That is why I am working on a Generals mod WWIII: Call to Arms
