1)TPB did not EVERY support uploading child porn, and it has ALWAYS been against their usage policy. Child porn is 1 of the many things they DO filter for.

2)The demoniod TRACKERS were not even down for more than 6 hours, AND there is a backup way to upload torrents to them anyway, so basically Demoniod ONLY lost the GUI (the website). Which is like 1% of their entire infrastructure anyway. Ping the many demoniod trackers, see for yourself. And the sub-admin has said for right now, they are not worried about the website, they want to subtract attention from themselves.

1. You have to be the stupidest person I've ever encountered. Did I say that they ever supported it? No. Did I ever say that they don't filter for it? No. I said that at one point their moderation of uploaded torrents was so lax that they DID NOT remove ANY torrents, INCLUDING CHILD PORN.

Did you read the link I gave you, or do you just assume that you know more than the collective body of Wikipedia users and therefore ignored the link?

2. You claim to know torrenting quite well, so I figure you understand the concept that torrents can't be downloaded without the torrent being uploaded TO the tracker, so as it's a registered torrent. Generally, this process is done VIA A WEBSITE. The tracker is useless if there is no new torrents or leechers. It's like a car without any wheels. Sure, you can start the car and it runs, but it's not exactly mobile, thus rendered useless. You wouldn't say that the car is operational, would you? I didn't think so.

Edit: Troop, do you realize the difference between past and present? According to the bullshit you're arguing, you don't differentiate between the two.

So, by using your logic, you can completely ignore the history of your own country and deny the fact that Canada was ever a colony of France and Britain.

Since Canada is currently its own sovereign nation, it must have always been one. If it has always been its own nation, it could never have been colonized by England or France. Why is this? Because the past never existed or doesn't matter, according your fucked-up logic.
