Recruit

Hey guys.

I recently bought The First Decade (I lost the disc before lol) and I've installed Renegade.

I went to play online, but it says that my Online Component isn't compatible.

I've got The First Decade and I've installed the scripts (2.9 I believe). What the hell can I do to fix this?

Solution

Normal Renegade

If you have normal ren (not the first decade), this is usually because you installed an older C&C-game (red alert 2, for exemple) after renegade and you installed WOL for it.

It will then install an older version of WOL over the renegade version and you'll get an incompatibility message.

The First Decade version of Renegade

Do NOT patch The First Decade after installing it. It seems that one of the patches "breaks" the WOL install for some people.

This doesn't help because I didn't patch the game with v1.037... I tried it once with out the scripts, it didn't work. Installed the scripts and it still didn't work.

I'mma try and reinstall it...
