like what the game battlezone? i sorta wish renegade was made like battlezone in but its still a great game anyways

I think he pressed "new topic" by accident lol and meant to post in the thread about the tiberium trailer lol unless he just thinks he posts this and people will know what he means(if so then no).

yeah sorry. But i do think Renegade is like battlezone. they have some things in common in a good way.

I'm not sure on this but correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't renegade released before battlezone if so how could it be like it if it was before it?

Battlezone, not the arcade game, was off the hook and i posted in the pitts about 4 years ago how I thought they were alike.

I never played battlezone multi player but single player was awesome, did it even support multi player back then?

I also thought Renegade may have "stolen" battle zone developers for its muti player and defintely stole the thrill of destroying structures in first or third person which ever Battle zone was.

PS. I couldn't get past like the second or third map in "battlezone 2".

i never played the first battlezone but i hear it still has some people play it online as well with battlezone 2 actually battlezone 2 was the last game i played online before i jumped to renegade

Oh BattleZone I haven't played the actual game but I remember playing a arcade version it was fun.

He's talking about the remake of Battlezone; the original was released in 1980.

Battlezone II was actually very fun. The AI was smarter than the ones in Renegade, you can actually build stuff a la C&C but in first person mode, you could control vehicles.
I miss it.

online was 1000x better than single player though http://www.bz2maps.com/ people still play it its just a hell of alot smaller community than renegade
