Type in the black box "format C:\"
Press enter.
After that, put your windows key cd in the disk drive and re-install.
|
Wont work, you can't format your system drive while its being used.
|
This is true.
@ OP, you need to reinstall windows (And reformat)
Renguard is a wonderful initiative

I actually find reformatting to be one of the simplest solutions.
It's always "Okay, I did the recovery thing, but now it says it's missing th-" No. I hate dealing with that sort of crap and the majority of the computer's problems are solved anyway.

only draw back is that it takes such a looooooong time. A problem like a missing ntldr file can be solved in minutes.
A good explenation can get you far
(i must admit that in the beginning i also countered problems like these with a 'simple' re-install of windows, but it is just that bit more learnfull when you try to find the other way of soving it)

Well, if the loader was deleted due to a virus/trojan, the OS is not really trustworthy anymore and should be reinstalled anyway.
If the loader was deleted due to user error, it's a pretty good chance that other files were deleted and it could be faster to take the hour and reinstall the OS.
But you do what you please. It doesn't matter to me.
