I am having an odd problem where sound works perfeclty in the game but there is no sound in the movies, any movie not even the intro.

I purchased renegade in The First Decade box and have updated it to CP2, scripts 3.4.4, RenGuard 1.0323, and the version of the exe is 1.4.0.

I am currently on Mission 7 and would like to hear the movies. I can connect to the Internet and play multiplayer so I have no idea what is causing it.

Any help?

The sound in the movies is not compatibly, anyway the movies are nothing special. :S

The reason Uranus is tilted 90 degrees is because god got angry and kicked it over.....

They are.

I can only suggest two thing, downgrade to the original scripts.dll (that might be the problem) or, extract the movies from the Play disk, and use Bink Tools! to watch them manually.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

I like the movies for their story and they dont look too bad. I watched them all on Youtube now, but id like them to work in the game.

Very odd problem indeed. Did you try removing the new scripts then? They do indeed, like mentioned, sometimes give problems with the single player.
