Okay I have dial up at home and I was wondering what can I use to speed it up some more. It is currently like 6 kb/sec I noticed that I can play in game with about 12 or fewer people with a ping of about 300. It also keeps saying that lowering the bw below 56000 is not allowed and that it has been reset. What is bw amd why does it always say this???

The reason Uranus is tilted 90 degrees is because god got angry and kicked it over.....

5 to 6 KB is normal for dial-up. Remember that internet connections are measure in Kb (kilobits), not KB (kilobytes), so 6KB=48Kb (there are 8 bits in a byte), which is about right. You'll never (or rarely) see the full 56Kb on dial-up.

BW is bandwidth It's an exploit becuase lowering it makes your character lag on others' screens.

Yes, you can't since 56Kbps is the limit of your connection.

Get a new internet connection, Broadband, over 8Mb at least...

BlueYonder got bought out by Virgin media, and Virgin Media sure are virgins when it comes to providing Interwebs.

I have that too, although according to my router the actual speeds are 6-7Mbps down and 6-700Kbps up. ^_^

We have Roadrunner High speed online. A while ago I said it sucks. I retract that statement. I downloaded Cnc3 battlecast viewer at an average download rate of 650Kb/s. That is much faster than I have previously downloaded stuff.

bcv is 1.41GB

Defiantly get Broadband, I have it and I could never go back to dial up. Of course, if you are in a location where getting broadband is not possible, thats different Smile

He was joking with you. If you have a dialup connection you're not going to get anything better through the modem. 56Kbps is too low to play on a semi full server.

Max I can play is like 8.

I just hate it when after of like an hour of playing it says:

Connection with server lost - gameplay pending
Connection to server restored
Connection with server lost - gameplay pending
Connection to server restored
Connection with server lost - gameplay pending
Connection to server restored
Connection with server lost - gameplay pending
Connection to server restored
Connection with server lost - gameplay pending

and so on....also why is it when I try to use !lagfix
it says it fixes it and then I get bumped off and it says that I been evicted by an admin?
