Not so well-known in fact....Every server takes shots at n00bstories for its !forcerg bullshit and the half-witted people who use it...I got !forcerg'ed for killing the refinery and the power plant on volcano..."ruined the game for gdi". N00bstories is a joke overrall.

Boo hoo! You don't want to run RG? It slows you down? Hacks your HD? Makes you ugly? Too bad. If you don't run it and you do something suspicious, you get !forcerg'd. Just run RG, you pussy. Everyone else does. It's a small price to pay for a small assurence against cheaters. Or are you too young to remember the days before RG?
Sorry, but Renguard DOES make Renegade load much slower, and it DOESNT protect me against cheaters anyway, so why bother using it?

That's like saying condoms don't block STDs and babies, so bother using it? It's not 100%, fine. What is 100% effective? Furthermore, it's better than nothing, and since there is currently no alternative, RG all the way.

If RG is making you load Renegade THAT much slower, you might want to invest in upgrading your system to something better than a Pentium II.

1. I got a DualCore and 2 Gigabyte of RAM. It obviously takes me longer to load because first Renguard has to start-up.
2. *cheat name removed*is getting updated about 1 Day after a new Version of Renguard as far as I remember, and most cheaters have *cheat name removed*. So whats the point in using Renguard?

1. If you have a Dual;Core and 2 gigs of Ram, the difference in loading time should be minimal at best. I have a non-DualCore and 1 gig of Ram, and the difference in loading times is marginal at best. Well within my patience and attention span.
2. See condom analogy.

Its not "Not 100% Effective", It shows no effect at all. If people want to use a radarhack or even shift around in a cw they can do it.

It stop cheats, m'kay? There are ways around it, but if it did absolutely nothing then nobody would stand by it.

If someone is on renguard, they are 100% clean...its been like that for quite some time now. Renguard is NOT bypassed by *cheat name removed*anymore..

It has been known rg has been bypassed for a while. Still no updates since then.
If you suspect someone to be cheating in your server, and they are running RG. Do you trust it? Do you continue to let them play?

I don't trust RenGuard 100%. I don't trust anything 100%, really. That would be silly.

However, if I have two equally suspicious players, and one is running RG and the other is not, I'm apt to believe that there is a higher likelyhood that the one not running RG is cheating compared to the one that is.

Yea, it also made my renegade not run at all, so I had to reinstall it making me pissed at RG.
EDIT:Also it said ERROR TOO BIG CUSTOM SKIN on skins one pixel bigger than the normal thing.
