I got a little motion sickness the first couple of times I played, but I put a fan on and the circulation of air seemed to help get rid of it. I can play now without any sickness.

I began doing the campains and I have gotten to the place where there is a space saucer but I think I might be ready to start playing online. I have not downloaded everything that was suggested here yet, but I should be doing that soon... anyone wants to play?

Of course they do, just pick a server from the Advanced Game Listings in the "Westwood Online" menu option. If you need some help registering with XWIS, refer to this topic: http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=25764&start=0&rid=2 2131

I highly recommend that you start your online playing on the right foot. Play on n00bstories AOW or at least one of the Jelly servers. They're large, popular servers run on good machines and backed by respectable communities. Avoid shite like UNRules or other crappy servers. You don't want your first taste of online Renegade to be bad.

The right foot is different for all. I, for one, could never play on n00bstories or jelly: the servers are way too big to get an enjoyable game (for me) and there's way too many n00bs around there usually (talking about n00bs, not newbs).

I think it all depends on personal taste. Why do u think unrules is a bad server? Maybe because u had a bad experience there, while others like it a lot.

It's not up to us to tell people what they should like, they should try it out theirselves.

Be sure to pick an original nickname, most of 'em are already taken,
if you don't have an original nickname it'll give you a "No server(listing?) found" or something like that.
And you must atleast use 8 characters in your password.

Nobody pays attention to the n00bs, though. There's ALWAYS 3-6 super-pros on NS at any given time. That way, through observations, n00bs become 1337.

As for UN, it isn't some kind of personal grudge I've been holding. Their unqiue combonation of laggy servers, stupid mods, and regressive language policy tends to piss lots of people off.

No. It happens in anygame when the player is suffering from fatigue and/or is really sleepy.

Lack of air circulation is responsible for that too. It used to happen to me a lot I would just get up and plop back on the bed behind me and go to sleep.

It happened a lot to me that I actualy stopped playing FPS games for a while in 2004 LOL. Just play in a cool room and make sure you ain't tired.
