Is the registry A.D.S or can I find it in explorer?

Start Menu > Run > regedit -- is this what you're looking for?

Edit: Oh, try this character:
‫‬‭‮‪‫‬‭‮҉
It makes you type backwads!

There's a free program called registry cleaner, it just shows all the related registry values and lets you delete them rather than going to different folders and looking for different keys and such. It helps when you cant uninstall a game, so you delete the files of the game, then delete the registry, and it will install again.

Start > Run > regedit

You can edit, import from, and export all or part of the registry from within there, other than that, you can't really get at it.

Don't even touch the registry unless you know what you're doing and have backed it up beforehand.

Seriously, it's one of the easier ways to mess up your system if you don't know what you're doing.

OMG I edit the registry all the time!
I'm not asking How do I edit it. Look at my original post. Is that line of text in it?
I'm asking if its a single file revealable in explorer(.exe), or is it A.D.S.

EDIT: All of you (except havoc) have 500+ messages posted. Haven't you ever seen one of my registry editing posts?

҉Lol it doesn't work if you copy it from the messages below the Input box where you post lol

This is getting weirder! No common tasks! I never use that option though. I hate the sidebar.
index.php?t=getfile&id=5228&private=0
Also note I found it set on Open each folder in a new window which I have set it to the contrary for a few months.

Like light said, registry editing can screw up your computer, and you've probably fucked up your registry, which would also cause those other problems you've been having as well.

You've been editing your registry and now your Windows option dialogs and desktop background tabs are behaving strangely.

I'm sorry but this does look like cause and effect, playing around with the main config of your OS can bite you. As for not seeing your other registry edit topics I rarely keep track of peoples usernames, I read topics and post replies.

Yeah, all of the things you're having issues with look like registry related settings.

I've only mucked with the registry under SOFTWARE, no-ware else.
Sorry I posted that in the wrong topic. Blush
Its because of stupid 3rd-party tweaks.
