hi there ppl
i have just managed to get a server, and am wanting to run a renegade server. but i have no clue where to start!

would any 1 be willing to show me the ropes, let me know what i need to do ect, sorry i am such a noob, but i really want to do this.

so if any 1 would be able to help me that would be so great..

Download RenegadeFDS here
Download SSGM here
Download BRenBot here
Get a hostname
Get a valid Serial number
Open ssgm.ini and configure whatever the heck you want in it
Open data\svrcfg_cnc.ini and add what maps and stuff you want to your server
Start the server.

Oh, and prepare for the comments/replies to this saying "dont' start a new server, there's already too many out there".. :V

Enter any combination of numbers that is 22 characters long, and starts with 0669.

Then, after you installed it, I think you're supposed to go to the server.ini file and change it to your serial.
