MY settings say the res is 1024x768 (wwconfig.exe) but in the game its only showing 800x600 and i cant make it work....it this is it i put in that rader hud thing and it was 800x600 at the time...any ideas?

Renegade's graphics though good, compared to todays, they are too crappy to notice a difference with higher resolution, mine works fine, maybe you just need to reinstall it for it to be fized, otherwise, try newer scripts, the new scripts have some graphical ingame menus.

There are actually entries in the registry that you can alter to change video settings for Renegade (and many newer games as well) - ran across them several times while helping friends with similar issues.

If I had the game installed on my new hdd, I would give you the path of those entries, though I don't recommend using this method to alter anything outside of the resolution.

Make sure that you're selecting the correct video adapter in wwconfig.exe.

i am everything is right....including i got new scripts and i know for sure the res has not changed

Make sure your desktops resolution is at least that size or more on both the height and width dimensions.

my desktop is twice as big i think but even then never had problem before that damn hud thing
