What do you think is better? Is it wort it to buy one of these when the game first starts, or wait for an APC? The speed of the buggy is great and the armour on the hummer is so-so.
What do you guys think?

They both are great vehicles. But the buggy is the better of them two.

The only real threat for them are noobjets and maybe PIC/Railgun. Can contantly rush otherwise, at least on defenseless maps. It's even possible to reach the GDI powerplant on City (both versions) with close to no damage.

Aren't they just kind of.............The same thing.....? I mean, sure they look slightly different, but they have the same stats and stuff.....
By the way, just my 2 cents: Another thing deadly to the buggy/humvee? Pretty much any automatic weapon. I can EASILY take down a buggy with a solder. Easily. If they have very good aim, its slightly harder, since they can headshot me, but usually if I dump 2 clips into them, maybe less, that buggy is gone, and whoever's inside is going to get ripped apart shortly after.

Hummer has 50 more armor and 50 more health and costs $50 more.
Buggy is faster
Both do same amount of damage as a APC does
Basic GDI Rifle infantry can take down a buggy really easily. Due to the fact the buggy is weaker, and the GDI Rifle does 7 damage per hit.
Takes a bit more work from NOD rifle infantry to take down a hummer. since the hummer is stronger and their rifle only does 5 damage per hit.
