Who has responsibility for maintaining bhs.dll, now that jonwil's moved on to CnC3?

P.S. SK, please don't turn this into an anti-JW flamefest, that isn't the point of this thread.

I have removed SK's posts and the followup. Stay on topic.

From what I know, you can expect some sort of development on bhs.dll and other stuff soon enough, but I don't know specifics yet.

There are currently 2 people with the source code for bhs.dll. One is obviously Jonwil, the other is, well I guess I won't give his name out. But really if jonwil doesn't want to release the source, he doesn't have to.

Version 3.0 was leaked. Most people who have sought it, have at least that version.

But where is the post or where did the info come from that John Will is halting work on renegade and is moving to cnc3? I can't believe I missed that.

He mentioned it several times and I'm pretty sure he mentioned it in his last scripts release. He said he is moving to C&C3 and may come back to Renegade someday.

Frankly, that was quite helpful! I'll just poke StealthEye about this issue then.

No-one else except me has the most current bhs.dll source code (at least I dont think so). Also, the only people who I specifically allowed to have copies of bhs.dll source code are Black-Intel people. I think I may also have given Saberhawk bhs.dll source code at one point, not sure how long ago that was.

Anyone else is (unless I have forgotten something) most definatly does NOT have permission to have bhs.dll source code (that includes Sir_Kane)
Also, anyone who DOES have bhs.dll source code (including Black-Intel people) is NOT authorized to give that code to anyone without my say-so.

Big Question: Which BI people have permission to work with BHS.dll?

(there are 5 coders on the BI staff)

Also, none of the Black-Intel people have permission to distribute any modified binaries of bhs.dll either.

(Sorry)

Tht doesn't make you better than him, it makes you the same as him, and therefore in no moral position to complain about it anymore. (I don't think some of us would mind the last part)
