I acknowledge the existance of the clickbot. I deny it's ability to give the player the advantage in a sniper match. I deny the existance of a wallhack cheat. I know the exploits, but since they are were glitches in the game, thats not very well a cheat, now is it?

Yes. Exploiting glitches in a game would be cheating. If a game has a certain glitch, and you work it to your advantage, you're cheating.

So you're saying that when I get inside the wall in a given map, thats using a cheat. Actually, thats a game flaw, and what I'm doing is an exploit. I'm not using a program to enhance myself over others, I'm utilizing something ingame. You may consider it cheating, but it's not "a cheat", for lack of a better word.

Yes. Exploiting glitches in a game would be cheating. If a game has a certain glitch, and you work it to your advantage, you're cheating.

It's a glitch, a flaw, and you exploit it so you can have the advantage over the others in the game, exploiting it is cheating.
If there was a glitch in Renegade, that when properly exploited, made the "hit zones" of the enemy soldiers enlarge, and made it incredably easy to get a headshot without aiming, and someone used that exploit to get headshots just by pointing the screen in their general direction. According to you, he wouldn't be cheating at all, and this would be perfectly alright. Hey, he's just "utilizing something ingame" (insert some more of your stupid reasons to justify your cheating, here).

Granted, I can see why you would call it cheating, but you're not using a program which is defined to do a certain task, such as the Clickbots. Mr. Aircraftkiller has still shown no proof that such a program exists for the wallhack he's been claiming to exist.

You still haven't answered my question. Lets say there was a glitch in Renegade that made the hit zones incredably larger, and gave whoever could succesfully exploit it a GREAT advantage, making nearly all of his shots toward an enemy head shots, and he used it. In your opinion, is/was he cheating?

Trust me it does exist. However I can't show you any proof because of the same reason ACK can't. But more people than ACK, Dante and Blazer know about it, including me. There is no reason for anyone to know about it because it is not a problem and it should stay that way.

Nope. Thats a hypothetical exploit, not a cheat. The person you state was merely exploiting a flaw in the game (hypothetical) which could be used by anyone at any time should they know your expliot. Something tells me, that just with B2B, which was an expliot (because it was never intended), or the OB walk, that when people become aware of these expliots, they are able to use them at their own discretion. It's not cheating if everyone is using it, it's common practice.
And General Havoc: This is the case of you, Aircraftkiller, and everyone else who denies to show any proof of these "cheats". You say something exists, you provide no proof but "Trust me, blah blah blah, I'm Mr. Righteous, put blind faith into me because I say so". I'm sorry, but I'm not one to put faith into someone I've never met or spoken to. I'm just that skeptical that any of these "cheats" exist.

So everyone has the potential to do the same thing. Therefore it isnt cheating. If it is possible for everyone to do it- whether they know about it or not- It isnt cheating.

O right, so the more people know about it, the more true it becomes? Yeah that makes sense. People following the opinion of someone who seems to be higher than others (in this case, ACK) makes no difference whatsoever to the argument and is pointless mentioning with little relevancy. Loads of people will think ACK is right on this subject. A lot of people won't. This doesn't change the fact that I have been thinking too heard and totally forgotten what I was about to put......
Anyway.... To the believer, no proof is necessary. To the non- believer, no proof is possible. Think about it

I said that more people than mentioned by ACK know about this exploit. Please find the part where I said it makes it more true because more people know. All I meant by what I said is that there are more people out there (quite a lot) who know about this exploit and could relese information and or URL's related to this exploit at any time but it is likely to have a impact on Renegade as people may use it.

XXXXXXXXX is kicked from XXXXX for writing wallhacks.
He sais he just wanted 2 test his skillz ,and that he aint using it only writing it.
Wallhacks = a way to look through walls, everybody can use/do it now.
Is there a way 2 c if ppl are using it ?

in other games i used to go into spectator mode, over someone i suspecting of USING a wallhack.
i would find one that i downloaded and activate it when in spectator mode, and it worked in catching them 100% of the time......
i never used it outside of spectator mode cos its cheating. and i never cheat, i always play by the rules...
but as you know Renegade does not have a spectator mode so there is Really Nothing you can do but use it yourself in-game to try catch someone out, Maybe the Admins could use it ONLY when they suspect someone of cheating?

its not only too see during walls...u can HIT your enemys with that shit, i see XXXXXXXXX in hourglass, he was a gdi and stand near wf shooting on the hill...i thought is he stupid or something and than is see that he killed with nearly evry shot on person...i dont think that i have to say more

XXX are u sure cause making a wallhack is really really easy he just changes the textures on his own machine so he can simply look trough them that takes unbelievable 5 minutes
now to the part with shooting through walls since he would hav to change the map that for he would have to hack NNs or at least code a progie which does that for him because the game would definately run outta sync and he would get his ass slammed by the server - for real i dont think XXXXX is that good he talks alot and he thinks hes the best and i dont even think he wrote that progie i find renegade hacks from time to time but most have trojans or virusses in the executable now it takes something more than a script kiddie to make a working wallhack which works through wall (shooting) maybe its just an exploit but then someone would have figured out - seriously XXXXX aint the guy who is ale to code something like that...

Wallhack only allows you to see Objects through walls, such as Other players, Harvesters, tanks, Tiberium Crystals, Lamposts, Barrels, Trees etc..
you cannot shoot through walls with a Wallhack, although from its name it sounds like you can, and thats the confusing part about the wallhack programs,
it depends on the game in question, but Soldier Of Fortunes Model Files (all the character, weapons & other Objects ingame) could be seen through a wall, perhaps someone has coded a program that allows you to see W3D files (Renegades object File Format) through walls.
its possible... and if XXXXX has it, GOOD he should be banned for it!

ok, only to have a real reason i TEST the wallhack, i doenst have it now... i delete it cause i want to win with my own skills (plz believe me)...
and u CAN shoot during walls, i testet it only 3 times cause i think its a fucking cheat...(i mean i killed 3 n00bs)...
i´ßve done this only cause i want that u all see that it is possible and think about it, if a lot of ppl use this wallhack......not funny------->ban him

i saw some guys doing it, like on bunker UNDER
hes stood "in"wall and shoot 5 kills.....
i got shot sometimes INSIDE a building,even by some known players

its true, after downloading the maps from XXXXXXXXXX website and after some tests, we came to the conclusion XXXXX was INFACT cheating on not just our server, but every single server he has ever been to!
i have now removed these modified maps and i will continue to play normally.

As most of you guys know, I am a programmer. I am currently collecting information about preventing the wall hack from happening. I have came up with an idea, but that means the FDS needs to be modified in some fashion. I am currently designing some things and collecting information.
Also, I ran tests on the maps XXXXXXXXX is spreading. When I make a CRC32 of the map myself, those are different then the CRC32 of the original maps. So, now I need to write an app that sends the CRC to the server and have the server kick players that haven't sent their CRC value.

hmm... that means the renegade game should send ure script the crc32? u can make the game send u other informations than the game data itself?

Everyone still has the potential to download a clickbot/colorbot/etc. and use those ingame. According to what you said, using a clickbot/colorbot/etc. isn't cheating at all. Hey, if it's possible for everyone to download a bot and use it- whether they know about it or not- It isn't cheating. :rolleyes:
And, according to you, if someone made a truly functional and working aimbot, and put it where everyone can download it, and everyone could possibly download and use it, it wouldn't be cheating to use the aimbot.
