Sorry for the double post guys. But Thanks for the helpful tips about BRenbot.

I now have BRenbot setup and talking with my IRC server. Everything seemed to be working well. But when I open up my FDS exe to make a server I get what you see in the screen shot.

Dose anyone know what this means? It works fine without BRenbot. In fact I actualy coppied my entire Renegade FDS folder before installing BRenbot in case something went wrong, and when I replace it with the backup of before Brenbot it has no trouble making the server. So is BRenbot not talking to my FDS?

Keep in mind that I am running the Co-op Beta 2.25, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Thanks again Dont Get It

danpual is a fucking noob and when you install BR, he forgot to make the installer make a file.

In your FDS directory (inside /Server/) make a folder called

"log" and inside that folder make a folder called "biatch" and inside that folder create a text file under the name of "main.txt"

Don't post complaints about a good program...

Anyway, on topic...

@Kioshin18: make sure that you have set up the RemoteAdmin stuff in brenbot.cfg and server.ini. (Make sure they're the same...) If they are already, then I don't know what the problem is... :\

I did exactly what you said and while it no longer shows that error, the FDS just exist upon loading. In the screen shot it looks all good and well but shortly after just exits/crashes.

I have made sure all the information is the same between both the server.ini and the BRenbot.ini.

Server.ini

AllowRemoteAdmin = true
RemoteAdminPassword = Not for you to know Tell Me
RemoteAdminIP = 127.0.0.1
RemoteAdminPort = 4949

BRenbot.ini

RenRemLinuxHost = 127.0.0.1
RenRemLinuxPort = 4949
RenRemLinuxPassword = Not for you to know Tell Me

I saw somewhere to leave the IP blank, but when I did that BRenbot complained Huh

If it crashes, it means you need to reinstall your co-op mod. Why? If you installed BR over the Co-Op mod, the installation of BR gets rid of the necessary files you had earlier from the co-op mod, and thats why it crashes.

Reinstall the co-op mod and it should work. Save your server.ini and your svr_conf.ini before re-installing it so you save time after you reinstall the mod. Thumbs Up

My reply was quite helpful and more "on-topic" then yours.

And I never complaimed about BR, I find it excellent. I find danpaul a nubcake for making his installer have quite a few problems.

Like when you install BR, brloader keeps updating the same shit, cause of a certain file mishap or whatever, and then IPBot trying to connect to the database but it says "invalid password"

It only adds up.

Matix, go back to DOS'ing, k tx?

As said: if it works before installing brenbot, then try to install renegadefds, then install brenbot and then install the co-op mod.

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Two things:

1: I didn't miss any files from the installer, it installs BIATCH exactly the same as the zip file from BlackIntel does, so if there's something missing it was also missing from the zip file when I downloaded it from their website.

2: Did you actually GET a password for the IPDB? If not then that's why you get invalid password messages. Also that's only on versions of the IPDB plugin that were released AFTER that installer was made, hence why it updates to that version.
