Let's say you could ask one question, and receive an absolutely truthful and complete answer.
What would you ask?
For example:
Is there a God?
Is there an afterlife?
Do aliens exist?
A complete list of all people, living and dead, who helped plan 9/11 (or 7/7, or whatever)?

I am stuck between 3 really.
Is there a God?
Are there aliens / life among different planets or univereses.
Who planned 9/11? (Even though Loose Change pretty much sums it up.)

After giving it some thought I came up with a short list:
Why is there suffering, and not because of the human condition. But why is it allowed?
To get any answer at all would conclude there is an enlightened being, because only an enlightened being could answer. Confirming my belief.
The answer would also proove or disproove Bhuddism.
Am I a good person?
I believe I am a good person, but to be judged truthfully could potentially be life changing.
Who am I?
To be defined would be nice, to be given a higher sense of self.
After much thought, and this short list was cut down from allot of questions I came up with this. And I am being honest.
What are the winning numbers for every single lottery from this day forth?

Not really... Loose Change contains more bullshit and false information than genuine thought-provoking truth. I'm not saying 9/11 was or wasn't an inside job, but for the sake of argument assuming it was, Loose Change does not fully answer the question:
- who planned it? Clearly not the entire US government, so which segment(s) of it? Who directly planned it, who were unwitting puppets in its execution? What was Osama bin Laden's involvement if it was indeed an inside job? Did he actively assist the American perpetrators, or did he simply take advantage of the event for his own ends afterward?
No, it doesn't answer the question in the slightest even if the conspiracy theory is correct. And if it isn't correct, the question still wants answering.

Meh I still find the videos they provided as proof to where the possibility of bombs inside the building was possible. My opinion personally is that it was an inside job, Government did it in my opinion, I respect anyone's other decisions if so.

Well I would have to put in a lot of thought to it. It would also need to be a question to which the answer would be something lasting, rather than a one time thing.
So asking who planned 9/11 would be a complete waste of this situation. "Oh, it was them... well ok good... now what?"
Asking if there is a God is, although a better question to ask than the 9/11 one, it would cause chaos. People who did believe in God find out there isn't and possibly go insane. Or people find out there is one and thus lose all faith in themselves to go on living.
Asking if there is an afterlife would promote suicide.
Asking if there are aliens is much like the 9/11 one. "Ok.. now what?"
You need to weigh out both sides of the equation. Making something like this a very hard thing to think about.
So far I think Oblivion has the best question, with the mechanics of Time travel. However, science thus far has speculated theories of how to do it, the only thing they need really are reference points in time to use as cornerstones. How would you tell a machine that travels through time to go to a specific time period based on Human time? There needs to be a specific way to navigate time.
I suppose that would be a good question, however asking the most general of questions about time travel and asking for very specific answers would suit it better though.
