Do you believe in ghosts?
As for me, of course I do... there is one in my house! Sometimes, late at night you can hear footsteps down my hallway when everyone is asleep.
No one has actually scene the ghosts, but many have heard it. We rent out our downstairs apartment and we have received complaints of people walking upstairs when no one was home. But normally it is only really heard when no one is expecting it and only 1 or 2 people are there to hear it.
What about everyone else? Do you believe in ghosts? Do you have any stories that you have experienced with ghosts?

Only when the toaster pops as soon as i walk into the kitchen and the clock chimes as soon as i step foot onto the carpet.
Also note my house's freezer had been mysteriously adjusted at one point, we lost our pet budgies somehow as the bottom tray of the cage had been slid out (entirely onto the grass about 2 meters away) and of course last week one of our chickens got snatched in seconds without a sound.

Same here Blazer. I've had numerous experiences, but they aren't worth sharing because they get shot down by those who think they know the truth of everything.

A few years ago I would have said a bold yes.
I was experimenting with white noise and the results would rattle any mans bones. However, its been a few years and the shock value on it has faded as well as with my belief.
My mother claims that this rental we stayed in was haunted by an old man but I was too little to remember the place. She says that the bathroom light would be turned on in the middle of the night and that the kitchen cabinets would be open. My brother and I were too short to reach either said places so it couldn't of been us without making a hell of a lot of noise trying to do it.

Blazer wrote on Sat, 24 November 2007 03:54 | I've had a "haunted house" experience. I won't bother with the details, because no matter how accurately I recounted the events, nobody believes anything unless it happens to them personally, so why bother.

I would be grateful if Blazer and Dave Anderson share their stories. I have had a haunted house experience as well and would like to know more.
In all sincerity, I respect Blazer and Dave and I hope they share. At least one person is listening.
So please....kindly.

NOTE: While over the years I have come to believe that there are no ghosts, it would be highly illogical and arrogant to disregard any previous experiences and the experiences of others.

In our old house, I woke up one night because I needed a wizz, I got up and looked at my window, And seen a cat sitting on the inside of the window ledge.
I thought to myself "Meh, It must be our cat treacle" But when I got closer, It looked like our other cat, dip-see (lol, we even named treacle's kittens Fat bastard and Johnny Vegas. :d )
So you know, I went and did my business, Came back to my room, and the cat was gone.
At first I thought nothing of it, But the floor boards were squeaky as hell, and I would have made a little bang..
The next morning, I got up and had breakfast and left for school, the door was locked by the mortise lock (Door can't open unless you unlock it with a key) and out cat dip-see came in..
A few months later, Our next door neighbor told us when no one lived in our house, He buried his dead cat in our garden.
Then I was like "holy shit."
Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Is it possible that your parents let the cat out while you were asleep?
