To all the naysayers on my recent post and now the post of sloppyjo - I say this... I really hope you are right about there being no aimbot or cheat for renegade. Cause I love playing it and hope to continue. But I really find it funny that another person had a similar experience to mine (a person I have never met or talked to.) I hope it is a coincidence and nothing else. Because from what I seen, when standard infantry start killing 10 people in seconds - it will ruin the game. So you can make jokes about, deny and attempt to explain away my and now sloppyjo's experience with basic infantry going on killing sprees. Hopefully I am full of shit, on crack and a complete liar about my run in with a possible cheat - and this game will live on. But if it is true, and myself and sloppyjo actually had a run in with a cheat - do you think the game will be fun when a standard infantry soldier can kill 10 people in seconds????

I hope both of you are right and there are no cheats for this game.
Java, as far as adding me to your collection..... how old are you? Kirbys response made me laugh (like most of his post) your response made me ill. Please add me to your collection of people... just add it now... do you think I care. And I did not scream aimbot. Where in my post did I say I screamed aimbot. All I simply referred to was the possibility of there being a cheat. Please take the time to actually read post before responding. Further, you do better with humor, stick to that. Dont threaten people you feel are beneath you with adding them to a list or collection. That only makes you look stupid.

Maybe my impression of use of these boards is different than yours. I think one of the reasons for this boards existance is to keep the game of renegade strong. I have no idea what happened to counter-strike but from reading past post, it was ruined by cheats and such. I don't want that to happened to renegade. So, my reason for posting what you percieve to be whining is actually about raising awareness about the POSSIBILTY a cheat exist. It was never to whine about getting owned in a game. Hell java I have been killed in this game over and over and over many times by many people. I never screamed aimbot once. It is obvious to me that you are sick and tired of people doing that when a skilled sniper makes kills. I understand that. But my point is only to raise awareness that a cheat may exist now.
yes java i may be a fuctard but i love the game and dont want some idiot to ruin it.

dont u notice that no one else has had an expierence like this? Your the only person on these forums saying that it is real. What do u think the odds are that it is a aimbot?

actually, someone named sloppyjo posted of a similar expierence. I let my original post of cheat or not a cheat die at it being described as lag. I was satisfied with that. However, than i read sloppyjo's post which was very similar to what happened to me. That is why I created this post. However, I am going to trust kirby and java when they say a cheat does not exist and hope to hell they are right. Because if one exist, it will ruin the game.

Aimbot does no good if you're in a tank (ya gotta LEAD the target). Aimbot does no good when you're in the field and an APC runs to the power plant full of techs and you can't see them in there to kill them.
Yes, an aimbot would probably kill off snipe-only servers. That's about it. And our tactics in-game would change drastically... but, overall... once we stopped running into the field because we know the sniper WILL get us, they will get bored of having no kills and stop.
That being said, I still ain't seen no aimbot that actually works. I've seen two... both are color-based, and even with the color heads added, you still have to aim. It's a clickbot, and nearly useless... not worth the trouble, really.

Well, don't you think that cheating should improve your chances in a game? I don't see the clickbot giving anyone an advantage, if anything, it's detrimental. Go off and run a bunch of tests with it, you'll find it does nothing to give you the advantage. Use it if you want, it's not a cheat. And about your wallhack... This is news to me, why don't you show me some proof, Aircraftkiller.
I'll deny these cheats existing until I see proof, and I have seen none.

Thats what Im trying to say in my thread.I dont complained when I get owned.I usually dont though,But there is an aimbot,You cant say there is not.

Who said it had to be a glitch? Anyway just because you haven't seen something doesn't mean you can say it doesn't exist. Anyway it's up to you what you believe. I am not going to say anything more related to these exploits or cheats.

Yes. Exploiting glitches in a game would be cheating. If a game has a certain glitch, and you work it to your advantage, you're cheating.
