Hey everyone!

I have a new slim PS2 sitting in my closet for 2 years and I finally decided to buy some games this weekend...maybe today.

But I have no memory card for it...I looked it up and found 8MB and 32MB cards. Which one do you all recommend?

And can I use one card for many games or does each game need it's own card?

I am buying Ace Combat 5.

I also want to buy a racing game and a shooter with a total of 3 games. But I can't decide! So can you all recommend a good racing and shooter game? Must be fun with lots of room and furious lol.

Sorry, I am n00b to the whole console gaming and I would like information on just about anything. Huh Big Grin

If j00 want ps2 h@x comez to m3, I haxz0r my ps2 all teh time

Seriouly, if you get a memory card, come to me, I use a exploit with a ps1 game which allows the ps2 to boot homebrew without a modchip, it also plays copied games flawlessly, and my ps2 plays video/music/stuff.....all thanks to my leet haxz0r homebrewz.

Video of me playing some of my sisters anime from my ps2, full fps and full screen without quality loss or lag, full speed at usb 1.1 suprisingly. All my videos and music run off my external HDD since I dont have a internal HDD for my ps2.

I'd recommend Test Drive Unlimited as a racing game for the PS2. I'd also recommend it for the PC aswell. I don't really play shoot 'em up's on the PS2 so I can't recommend anything there sorry.

Burnout revenge is good. It's just a racing game where you try to ram other opponents into innocent civilian vehicles and kill your opponents, then they respawn, the more people you take down, the more nos you get.

@ Caveman
Cool! You read my mind...I was looking at TDU as well. I watched plenty of YouTube videos and liked what I saw.

I always thought, personally, that playing shooter games in a console is weird but my laptop (only comp with internet) fell yesterday and the hard drive guts broke loose. I am at work now lol.

So, now I am left only with my long-asleep PS2 for gaming entertainment. However, I was looking at Mercenaries: Playgrounds of Destruction for a good shooting game. Also I hear it's 3rd person kinda like Renegade...so I guess I have some decisions to make.

Anyway, thanks all for advice! Keep them coming! Big Grin Thumbs Up

MGS 2 is a good shoot 'em up, It's a stealth game too, So sneaking is one way to complete the game, Killing is another.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

I reccomend Battlefeild moder combat as you can play it online for free if you can run a lan cable to your PS2, and as for a racing game, get Burnout3 (takedown I think) It's much better than burnout revenge. It's one of those games that you can play over and over, and with friends and it never gets old.

As for the modding, it doesn't work with PS2 slim, I think they fixed the exploit when they made it.

Great Racing Games: Midnight Club 2, ATV Offroad Fury 2, NFS: Underground 1, NFS: Most Wanted.

Good Shooters: Killzone, Time Splitters Future Perfect, XIII.

Even MGS3 and Splinter Cell are good games, of you prefer to be more sneaky.

I also recommend buying the package of two memory cards the red one and blue one, because it is cheaper than getting two Black ones. Once you will see the prices, you will understand.

Get the mic working on your camera and explain how to do that, please.

Looks epic. Smile

So yeah I bought AC5 and TDU...both rock! I bought the 8 MB black memory card.

I though of getting a shooter and scanned some titles. The Terminator ones caught my eye but then I changed my mind in the checkout counter lol...I need mouse and W,A,S,D to play shooters! Big Grin
