lol i'll be way more fucked up than you, although nice taste in alcohol <3
but no matter how stupid i am, my plan is, to run across the 50 yard like, at halftime, right before kickoff, whilist dropping buckeyes all over the michigan 50 yard line
i hope you enjoy watching me get tackled by your wolverines, they won't be to happy

Michigan have had their ups, and terrible downs, but they are still a strong team (with Henne and Hart playing). If they do not have their two key players, as stated above; yes, they will be crushed. Mallott (Michigan's QB) is only a freshman I believe, at least he is getting some game play in against not-so-easy teams, he will be much more prepared next year, I actually think he may be pretty good.
Anyways, why am I defending Michigan? Well, shit, maybe I'll see you there crying(Which will most likely happen), or jumping up and down with joy! Also, why is the BCS Rankings fucked up? Every time a #1 Team gets defeated (seems to be no matter to whom), they get dropped down 5-6 spots? I think it's kind of stupid because the Buckeyes were dropped... down. I don't think they should be in the BCS Championship this year (Next year I am almost expecting it, OSU can still lose to some of the other teams they don't play).
I can talk a lot about this shit, but I should stop myself,,,,,

Uhh, 3 major factors that are going to change your assumption.
1. Micheal Hart and Chad Henne's last game in Ann Arbor
2. Hart and Henne have yet to beat OSU, so this year they have a little extra to work for.
3. This is Lloyd Carr's last game in Ann Arbor. UofM will win it.
|
Wait wait wait. You think that the last week number 1 college team will lose to a team who lost one of their games to a double A school?

cheesesoda wrote on Fri, 16 November 2007 01:37 | A team should be forgiven (to a reasonable extent) for early season losses.
OSU lost to Illinois at home. Michigan beat Illinois in Illinois. OSU beat Wisconsin. Michigan lost to Wisconsin. As far as I'm concerned, the game's about even. I don't care if OSU was ranked #1, they never deserved it.
Anyway, even if Ohio State actually earned the #1 spot they had, you forget to take in account for the rivalry. Do you not realize how many times Michigan and OSU have duked it out when the other team's national championship hopes were on the line and ended up upsetting the team? In this great of a rivalry, rankings and records don't mean shit.
|
Every team's loss means nothing unless it is consistent, you never know, they could of had a bad day, bad calls, etc.. Just like in OSU vs. Illinois (AT THE BEGINNING OF THE GAME) Illinois fucking fumbled, SO FUCKING OBVIOUS IN THE REPLAY, yet the officials didn't call the fumble. There are major aspects for a loss, for if that fumbled had been called, there might have been a different outcome.
Anyways, OSU didn't deserve #1? They are a young team, and proven to be #1 worthy, they stomped on Kent State, I MEAN THEY FUCKED THEM UP... Even though Kent State is, well, a not-so-good team, they were stomped on, by a young and well improving team. I think OSU deserves to be in the top 5, AT LEAST.
haha yes, rivalry, ranks, records, players, it really don't go together. I love this rivalry, I really do, I have never ever seen two teams always come close at the end. But one thing, cheese, emotions may not help Michigan, because no matter what, they both want the win just as bad as the other. I think this will be a close game, but I really do think OSU will win. Why were both Henne and Hart out last game? Will it happen again?
If Michigan wins, they deserve it, but I really hope they don't

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Those 2 players are the most valuable for them, they both have a huge part in making the offense. But even with them playing, like the last 3 years, would they still lose to OSU? As far as I think, the game will be close. Like almost everyone else, I don't know who exactly will win.. All I can hope for is that the defense will play their best, unlike against Illinois. At that, if Boeckman throws interceptions, like he did against Illinois, Michigan has the better edge.

Yeah? Look at your pathetic yards, you guys couldn't have done shit. If it was DRY, and not raining/snowing the whole time, the buckeyes would have stomped on you. Henne was throwing the ball way past the receivers, the only time I saw ANY hope in the Michigan Offense was when Mallott went in. Enough about the game, what about the fucking fans?
EDIT: Cheese, look at the 2nd half, re-watch the 2nd half, make hot love to the 2nd half. ALL OSU DID WAS RUN, if they had went for the pass every once in a while, I bet we would have scored more than just 14 points. Oh and look, last play, Tressel being nice to you guys and kneeling the ball instead of running in for a guaranteed touchdown.
Fuck you Michigan fans, you guys are seriously the worst losers I have ever made contact with. Can't take a loss? It's a fucking game, hitting me upside the head, pushing me, shoving me, fuck you.. I went there to enjoy an awesome rivalry match up, not to be ridiculed by Michigan fans. Shit, you guys were so fucking drunk you fell down stairs, peed your pants, tripped and stumbled every step you took.
As fun as it was watching the drunken retards, haha that was indeed the best experience I have ever had at a football game.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, did we watch the same game? Henne, while he isn't the greatest quarterback, left his receivers with MANY chances to catch the ball. Our receivers just couldn't fucking catch. We beat ourselves. Your secondary couldn't do shit. We had open receivers all day long... Henne either overthrew them or they forgot the concept of a reception.
As far as just running it, you guys weren't able to throw the ball, period. Do you honestly think Tressel just wanted to sit back with an 11 point lead to start the second half? Keep dreaming he was that confident. Boeckman couldn't throw worth shit, and you know it.
The fact is, both teams played absolutely abysmal. That was an excruciatingly boring game to watch. If you want to think that OSU showcased an insurmountable amount of talent, be my guest, but you'd be blind as a fucking bat to think that.
Do you even realize that a rivalry entails? It's full of passion, desire, and hatred. It's the biggest rivalry in all of sports, so to think that we're going to treat you jackasses with respect is a bit arrogant, to say the least. You, also, have to remember that we've lost 6 out of the last 7 to you guys because Carr has only been able to beat Tressel once. Not that I'm condoning the actions of our fans, but you'd be one smug idiot to think for a minute that Columbus is a nicer area to visit for a football game for Michigan fans than Ann Arbor is for you Fuckeyes. At least, in Ann Arbor, you don't have to worry about your car being overturned and burned like you can see in Columbus. What about the advisory to not drive a car with Michigan license plates in Columbus for the game last year? I don't remember hearing no Ohio license plates here in Ann Arbor. In fact, I saw too many Ohio plates today, and I've seen plenty of smug OSU fans being left alone in Ann Arbor.

guess i over exaggerated, we never passed, we should have in the 2nd half. hart was stopped because Carr had him go left every time, we stopped him. i guess this had to be a run off for the shitty Michigan weather. Maurice even played, wasn't he hurt? i guess he didn't do shit, but hell, that should have been a 21-3 game. it was pretty boring for you Michigan fans, well, because you lost. otherwise, i had fun cheering because we were, well, winning.
anyways, i have never been to a OSU vs. Michigan game that was held in Ohio. as you said, it's about hatred, but it's just a game, i thought it was stupid. i have never had the Ohio State and Michigan Rivalry experience, but i thought it was absolutely stupid how drunk most Michigan fans were. A lot of Buckeye fans were drunk to, but i don't they seemed as messed up as the Michigan fans.
i watched person after person start talking shit to one another, only at half time, which took me 30 fucking minutes to walk out, go to the bathroom, smoke a cigarette, and get back in. that was only because you assholes wouldn't let us through. i have respect for your team, even though it's a rivalry, it's football.. other than Michigan playing Ohio Sate, i hope they win because i want the football players at a really hard, high priority game, even higher than a rivalry (like last year, weren't they both #1 and #2?)
anyway, i plan to go to the next game at Columbus, with my grandpa. he made me a Buckeye fan, he knows a lot of shit too, somehow. shit, he should be on ESPN talking about football, instead of those air headed retards. anyway, the only reason why i went this time is because my uncle graduated and donates a lot of money to your school ( you might have heard of him? Tom Hawkins ) and he bought tickets for me because he knew i wanted to go. i am going to have to pay for my tickets next year
but yeah, i blame it on the weather, i really messed up both of those teams. now bruh, where did you sit?

I don't condone the hatred. I have to put up with the rivalry within my own family, since my cousin is a die hard OSU fan, but it's not nearly that bad. My uncle helped out some OSU fans a few years back when they visited, and they all enjoyed themselves. My family isn't about the hatred for the other fans.. it's a shame that it exists, and if you go to Columbus next year, you'll see what I mean by Ann Arbor not being near as bad.
It's easier for you to think that Michigan fans were more drunk than you OSU fans were. I could believe it, but you do have to realize that we out numbered you guys quite a bit. Things are probably quite a bit different in Columbus.
I LOVE the shit-talking. As long as it's not done in a harassing manner, then it's fun. It's a football game, and you have to have some shit-talking. I mean, it'd be pretty boring if all the fans had perfect manners to each other.
Welcome to the Big House housing 111,900 fans for the game. If you expected to move about during halftime, you obviously don't understand the way football games work, let alone ones that work at the Big House. It's always packed. I make sure I piss as much as I can before the game and try to limit my trips to the bathroom just once during the first quarter. It's worked well so far. Today, my brother and I were able to get right to the bathroom.
I sat in Section 13, row 59.

I've been to a few Michigan games and Ohio State games in my time, never a Rivalry game. Out of all those games, I was easily able to get out, go to the bathroom, and get back in. Never ever, took more than 20 minutes before, lol.
Section 13? I was in Section 8, and I was looking your way quite a few times, might have saw you. I was in row 52, so you must have been right behind the End zone?
to Jecht,
Eh, you should have seen Hart at the beginning of the game, before kick off, Hart had to be held back when both teams were crowing both sides of the 50 yard line. Another thing I saw was Chris Wells getting run over blocking for Boeckman, I mean, he got ran over, lol.
I have to also agree (Cheesesoda), I loved the atmosphere, believe it or not. Well, the shit talking, at least, as long as it is all talk. I don't see anything worth fighting over, as in physically fighting. Yeah, I also asked my Grandpa if Buckeye fans were total assholes in Columbus with Michigan visiting, he said he'd never seen so much stupidity running around the Stadium. Though, he said he never witnessed car flipping or anything along the lines of that. I still believe that would happen, people are stupid.
EDIT: I'm not surprised one bit that this was the 2nd highest attendance. Although I didn't expect it to me, I knew there were going to be a lot of people. Haha, my Dad's side of the family is from Ohio, they are all, all, huge Ohio State fans, which my moms side of the family (Who all seem to have graduated from Michigan) hates. We usually all meet up a day before the game, and whoever has tickets will stay, and whoever doesn't goes back home. I like College Football because of the fans being patriotic to their team.
Hey, look at it this way, Carr, which I think he will retire, will mean you guys are looking for a new coach. From what I hear, Michigan is going for LSU's head coach Les Myles (May have spelled it wrong?). Les Myles will definitely beat Tressel on and off, at least that's what I think.
