HI all.
I have been banned from participating in AOW.
No, not for cheating..... But perhaps someone would care to explain why.
Last week, hmmm was it the week before, whilst playing in N00bstories, I was subjected to some abuse to which I replied. The abuse was negligible, therefore nothing to be too concerned about. certainly nothing more than when there is no teamplay.
However, as I was kicked by a fellow player, whom is known to me for a long time now. It was with absolute shock and horror that this was their account that kicked me. NO! It was not an alias.
After some discussion and then eventually onto IRC to get some resolution, I hoped that the matter may have been dealt with and given an appropriate reply given.
As no response was given and as tonight was the first time, that I, have logged in since the incident, it came without surprise that as soon as I mentioned "!showmods" that the same hmmmm well lets say, suspected "person" showed up. To which the reply was "Go away you are not wanted here"
I asked was it Chris/Emma/Babyfire or indeed Amber that kicked me. This was seeing as I suspected foulplay from a single account that Babyfire: Chris and Emma are alleged to hold. Now to bring a trusted friend into this, Amber, who is alleged to be part of the same family, then replied on IRC that it was her that kicked me, seemed very strange, as both of us have had many a fine game with what I would like to believe was full and mutual trust.
Therefore it causes me very great concern that a player who has played and supported this server, N00bstories, should be BANNED, for merely trying to ascertain, why he was originally kicked and now Banned from an otherwise exceptional server. Time of play should never be an issue, but after playing this game since the start of it. this comes as a very big shock.
Perhaps now I may be given an answer, now that everything is in the open.
Many thanks, to those that are concerned enough to investigate what has happened. I ask only that I am given as prompt reply as the one that banned me.
