Wow way to take yourself too seriously. The video is perhaps one of the most digusting and morbid things on the internet and is worthy of discussion.

Since I never heard of this, I did a quick Google web search "2 girls 1 cup" and scrolled through the results till I found this:
Quote: | Urban Dictionary: 2 girls 1 cupThe act of multiple(2) partners(girls) deffacating into glassware(1 cup) and then performing sexual acts with the fecal matter. 2 girls 1 cup ...
|
I am not watching this video.

Its not whether its worthy of discussion or not, but the fact that I know people are going to look it up, watch it, and return in disgust and offended. I can't help whether they do it or not, but still, I would not have shared something like this for that very reason. Its just best not to provoke a persons curiosity like that.

If people are stupid enough, I see no reason why it shouldn't be entertaining.

Good job in completely missing Dave's points.
Curiosity is a powerful human emotion which most humans submit to to defeat it. It takes strong (but easily attainable) self-control to subdue curiosity. Go figure.
razorblade001 wrote on Tue, 06 November 2007 22:53 | But even so, if it bothers you that much, why not just tell everyone else "Hey, this video maybe found offensive to some, and I would advise you to not watch it." That is to say instead of insulting the thread starter..
|
And incite more curiosity? Then it makes sense not to spread the word in the first place.

It's all Pandora's fault for Death, Sickness, and Evil in the world.
Edit: No, the topic is a place to discuss it. However if people know they are going to be expecting something gross, that most likely will eliminate the curiosity. No?
Case and point: I never seen the video. I only heard it was gross. And I have no intention of going to see it.

Quote: | Gross it may be, but why is everyone getting so defensive?
People want to look it up, it is their decision. They get offended, too bad... What does it matter to you if some random person in California watches a disgusting video and gets "offended"...? It wasn't even you who proposed to watch the video..
But even so, if it bothers you that much, why not just tell everyone else "Hey, this video maybe found offensive to some, and I would advise you to not watch it." That is to say instead of insulting the thread starter..

My reason for the way I posted was due to the topic author, mostly. He didn't post any kind of warning, and the context of his post is just idiotic and comes accross childish, though I do give him cheers for not posting a link. I expect nasty, no-good videos from the context of the title, but others might be, as JBall put it, a bit too stupid to do the same.

I missed his point, or did you miss mine?
I don't give a fuck what "curiosity" can do to a person. It still doesn't take away from the fact that it's their own personal decision to bow to their curiosity. They, obviously, had to go through the trouble to Google it and then proceed to click on the link. It's not as if Rocko posted the link and they clicked on it before they noticed what they were doing.
Plus, if you're that disturbed by what you see, then it'll do you some good to be desensitized from the "horrors" of humanity.
whoa.

I misread. Sorry.
cheesesoda wrote on Wed, 07 November 2007 00:02 | I don't give a fuck what "curiosity" can do to a person.

Because you don't give a fuck doesn't mean curiosity did not play a crucial role in making people reach a decision. I think personal decision is the final say but it is stupid to ignore the strong intravening forces if they are present.
cheesesoda wrote on Wed, 07 November 2007 00:02 | It still doesn't take away from the fact that it's their own personal decision to bow to their curiosity.

You nicely evaded discussing about curiosity by saying "I don't give a fuck" and went right into your favorite all-time "personal decision" bullshit.
I agree completely that personal choice is the last say but in this case, curiosity can weaken the resolve of the person making the personal choice...hence making a personal decision much harder but still attainable. Curiosity played a part, no matter.
cheesesoda wrote on Wed, 07 November 2007 00:02 | They, obviously, had to go through the trouble to Google it and then proceed to click on the link.

You are telling personal choice made them do this? Or was it curiosity?
NOTE: I am not presenting curiosity as an excuse to do something but as a natural human reaction that has to be dealt with before making a personal decision.

I saw it, because a radio station referenced it without describing it and I figured that nothing could be worse than tubgirl...I was very, very wrong. I've actually heard of people throwing up as a result of watching it.
If you curious, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T WATCH IT.
