Okay i just installed Renegade right after a problem and all is well but when i 2x click the Nightregulator shortcut icon it will load up till a certain point then throw this in my face!
It really bugs me, what do i have to do to make it work?index.php?t=getfile&id=4489&private=0

Did you even install the FDS? NR doesn't work without the FDS.

Also, did you take 5 seconds to think about why anyone would want yet another empty serevr in the listings? There's already way too many serevrs for the amount of Renegade players.

why does everyone keep saying this SOOO WHAT! it does not make the person change thier mind it is just annoying everyone has a right to have thier own private server what if someone wants to make a server just for thier friends to play in? so can everyone just stop saying this it will not make the person change thier mind!

LOL, it seems easier than it is-> Dont Get It
I mean i can see the RenegadeFDS folder and everything plain as day but when i set the Directory thing that pops up to C:\Westwood\RenegadeFDS it does not accept it and keeps bringing up a window saying "Your FDS directory appears to be wrong, please correct now"

This is really annoying!

You are including that trailing backslash, right?

IE

C:\westwood\...\

Its either wrong, or your FDS installation is corrupt.

All it checks for is a correctly formatted server.ini and that RenegadeServer.exe exists.

Post a screenshot of your FDS dir?

Ok, i have absolutely no idea on Earth how but my NR works....i just Turned it off one night and loaded it the next day and it worked! It's like a freak of nature or something Rocked Over
I just messed about with the Directory's and went a bit mad before i turned it off!Satisfied
Anyways thanks for all of your ideas, although im curios, NR isn't the only Server management program is it? I have seen things like (BrenBot) (CI) (drangonServ)
NR isn't that good, it's hard to manage the Moderators and it just a bit of a mess to setup + there are certain things i cannot change like wether SBH Snipers are allowed(Currently there not and i want em to be)

So please can you provide me with some info on what's new and different from that of NR and how i could acquire these Management programs like (DragonServ) etc

Yeah, and in BRenBot you can choose if you want invisible orcas or kirov airships... that has nothing to do with NR or any other bot. Sarcasm

Do you even realize what the server bots do? They were designed to give the people that ran the server control over what happened in the server, not to change the gameplay. Their primary focus is providing a way to moderate the server.

Yeah yeah ok i admit,i confused the NR for some sort of mod to the server but i am not that far off, NR does change certain things on the server don't it?

Anyways, can someone here please tell me or DIrect me on how to change wether SBH snipers are allowed or not.... Satisfied ?

NR doesn't change anything on the server (AFAIK). Like I said, it's a server regulator, not a mod.
