I was watching some gameplay of the original Call of Duty and whenever the American sergeant spoke, I swore I knew his voice. So I looked it up on IMDB and found it was Jason Statham.
That satisfied me a little, but I couldn't remember where I heard his voice before (other than his movies). Then it hit me.
In the second mission, one of the civilians you rescue in the village tells you to watch for Nod machine guns and tanks beyond the tunnel. He sounds very similar to the sergeant in CoD.
Does anyone know if he did some extra uncredited voices in Renegade?
