Question?

Why must people 'rice up' their computers like some 1993 Hon-Duh Civic?

And my computer is a Toshiba Qosmio laptop from 2005. Nothing special; 100 GB Hard Drive, 1 GB RAM... and a 128 MB Nvidia GeForceGo 6600.

Works for me.

Well, for gaming, engines like Crysis require a TON of resources. And I just like having a fast computer with great performance, I don't upgrade my computer just 'cause I can.

Thanks, it was a waste in the sense 25% of cost was the BS PSU it came with that I threw out Big Grin

The names, radar etc are too small? Ok I play at my monitor max resolution 1440x900 and I can see the names PERFECTLY. You play at 8x6 to get more FPS so your e-penis gets all big.

My parts are a bit old, but then again I bought the parts over 2 years ago:

AMD 3500+ 2.2GHz
Abit KN8-SLI Fatal1ty Mobo
2048mb DDR2
Sapphire Radeon x800 (512mb)
120GB 7200rpm IDE(I Mobo allows me to switch to SATA)
250GB External HDD<---To make up for the lack of internal storage. Also gives me a storage medium for reformatting.

I have AMD 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor 4400
Nvdia Geforece Overclocked 8600
12048 MG of RAM (10 GB of Readybost RAM which helped a ton, on level 12a of Renhalo I was getting 31-20 FPS, now the lowest I get is 80 (screen is locked at 80))
320 GB Hard Drive

And other stuff that I am to board to type about right now.

My resolution depends on my monitor. I have a laptop with 15 inch monitor which is just as big as the monitor I had on my PC 10 years ago. So no wonder my resolution didn't go up much Razz

.

I also play on 800*600 (vertical sync to 60 FPS) just because I'm so used to it.

That's quite an elaborate system for a family computer O_o Alas, I have not yet made use of my SLI component. Probably never will either because I'll have to get an AM2 Socket Motherboard with my next upgrade.
