Permabanned for trying and failing DDoS
hey guys i downloaded Dev-C++ and Visual C++ but if i try to open a dll it says "it cant read the file i need to take a other editor"... wich programm i need to edit the .dll´s?

You can't just directly edit a dll... They are compiled bianries, you need the source and for VS you need a .sln and.vcproj file as well.

Contact microsoft, I had to do that so they could suggest to me a good editor. Or you culda just search google for .dll editors. Sarcasm

Open the source files that came with the .dll otherwise you cant edit it.

He's trying to get at the scripts.dll source, as we pointed him to in another thread. The source should be somewhere in your Renegade directory in a folder called "scripts" or something like that, anyone else have an idea where it might be?

The source codes for scripts.dll are at http://sourceforge.net/projects/rentools
