I recently installed 3DS Max 9, in hopes of learning a program that isn't as crappy as gmax, but after reading/watching the tutorials on renhelp.net, I downloaded the W3D plugins and scripts.
Now when I start up the program an error pops up saying something like "Max2W3d.dle failed to load" or something.
And when the program launches, I can't get any W3D options, like texturing or W3D Utilities...
Then I noticed on renhelp.net, there was a note saying that if I was getting that error, I needed to download that direcX fix thing, so I did... but I am still getting the same error... does any one know what I should do?

This allows you to export W3D files from 3D Studio Max 7 and 8.
|

No, there is currently no support available for producing W3D files with 3D Studio MAX 9.
