I think the black ones should be charged, but the white kiddies should also have the book thrown at them, simply because no one should get away with this bullshit.

That's not a hate crime. That's freedom of speech/expression.

While I don't agree with racism, the white kids' actions were NOT illegal. Stupid, immature, and completely uncalled for? Absolutely, but it wasn't a crime. Just like a KKK rally is freedom of speech, so is that. As wrong as it may be, it is covered by the First Amendment.

I will say this, the white kid got what he deserved, but that still doesn't make the crime right. However, I don't think the "Jena 6" deserves to have attempted murder on their rap sheet.
