thanks guys

i believe there should be a way for we to revoke there status!

as most of these shitty MODS are probally kids that can't
even clean there ASSES proper and so the have to play BIG to get attention.

And banns should only last 1 to 3 days at most as we all play different with different sets of players on out TEAMS.

as i like being a solder or SBH.
but when there are lots of them, i play SNIPER or REPAIR MAN

Now most of my friends don't even play renegade anymore due to this reason!

i see more & more servers EMPTY with no players.

but yet these MODS are acting as HITLER and complete ASSES.

is it just me or you guys are finding it the same way.

we need to come together and solve problems like this as a team!!! or more and more people will QUIT and we will be left-out (THE GOOD & PROPER PLAYERS)

If you were in my server, I wouldnt kick you right away, but if you stole/killed team vehicles, cursed waaayyy to much in every sentence, and kept doing things like obby walk, tunn beacon, then I would kick.

Otherwise if you hacked I walk check IRC and ban you without testing unless i'm not 100% sure. Sommtimes I get PM'd

"cause you hacked"
"omg nub, how you know?"
"Irc logs ftw"

I didn't mean it like that. I meant to say that down talking to a mod shouldn't be any worse than down talking an average player. And I believe it falls within "Breaking Server Rules" to decide if doing said offense is kickable.

I do mention BOTH players and mods in my reply.....I no it's no difference if you talk down to a mod as you do a normal player, but 9 time outta ten the former is more frequent. Mods keep servers clear of n00bs and cheats (for the most part) and this kinda authority invites abuse and retardation in the thousands so mods earn the right to kick if they are being abused because it's like a stuck record to them "OMG WHY U BANT MEH?" "OMG I R OWNEDING U NUB" "F**K YOU F**KING C**T T**T A*****E" etc etc etc.

Well simply put IMO, a Moderator can enforce the rules of the server to any degree of severity but cannot use those same powers to forcibly, for example, take credits from another player. This has happened before!

I'll understand why you would make a rule like that, it's always best to have a tech/hotwire/eggie when you are using an vehicle, but even myself, would never make such a gay rule, lolol.

You could ofcourse put the vehicle limit a tad bit higher. But yes, if he broke the rules, then a kick/ban could have been justified. I hope someone explained him the rule before he got kicked/banned.

im guessing he was prob kicked then came back frusturated said something like wtf, and got the banhammer for swearing..

but on another note i can see the good in that rule. i mean you are sitting there sniping away with an empty vehicle sitting beisde you that is not being used to help the team, however is still counts towards the limit. and what if some lucky guy would get hs on you since as you said you are not the greatest sniper you might stand still or not dodge very well (just a guess) but if you die that chopper is now up for grabs for both teams, if you get beat to it by a player for the opposite team. which might very well happen as cairo is a huge map then you have fucked over your team. now again server rules are server rules they are not up for debate... if thats their rule that you cant snipe and have a vehicle then you must follow this rule or you get kicked. its just the way it is.
