i put my screen name
password and the button login is inactive

Does it still say it if you uninstall rengaurd, if it works then rengaurd may be the problem, me myself have never had problems when I did use rengaurd, but who knows, check your internet connection too lol.
Are you forwarded to XWIS? This could also be that renegade is looking for the old west wood online server listing, although i was told it is forwarded to connect you to xwis, i'm not sure, oh well.

Run it, hit "set to XWIS" maybe it says "forward to xwis" i cant remember, DONT CHANGE ANYTHING, keep it the way it is and just click it, I have a PC which has an old ren installation on it that wont connect to XWIS, after using this tool, it worked right away, so this may be the case, try the tool.

Could you have logged in before installing rengaurd?
if so, then try uninstalling it, it is in the renegade directory which is C:/westwood/renegade
look for a trash bik icon that says uninstall and click it, it will ask if you want to remove rengaurd, I doubt rg is the problem, but it's best to try anything.

by the way now that renguard is install i do
not see the lil logos that comeout on top of
the head like when you say a command..
like "i need repairs" shows a lil redcross
and i do not hear the count down of the ion or nuclear
i dont get all those new features why??

You need to install the core patches to get these. Check the sticky in the "core patch" subforum for info on how to install them.

i uninstalled renguard and reinstalled it and i dont get the core patches nore update. it doesnt install the corepatches. help with that please.
