Help setting up training server [message #283595]

Hello , i am trying to set up a training server, it works fine but i cant get brenbot to work on it properly , the bot comes on irc and says who joins but when i speak ingame it doesnt do anything. Also i tried some commands ingame and it didnt seem to do anything.

There should be a topic below me called "Brenbot release 1.51" Download Mathkill's plug-in for it and configure you're server via that tool.

Also, Make sure you have set a remote admin port in server.ini and in the BR config files.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Ive tried that config tool but it says Runtime error '53' file not found.

Make sure the config exe file is in the same folder as brenbot.exe

Done that it says files needed updating or something so i said yes , i can open up the moderator list but not BrenBot settings as it says Runtime error '13' type mismatch. Sad

I get this error myself when I run it and open the BRenBot settings, but has thus far (until now) been unreproducable by anyone else :\

(Make sure the .dll files are placed inside the same directory as the .exe too)

I plan on rebuilding the entire config tool using the .NET environment. That is all I can say as the other stuff I was about mention about it belongs in the beta test forum for BRenBot :\
