Download the Linux System Rescue CD ( http://downloads.sourceforge.net/systemrescuecd/systemrescuecd-x86-0.3.8.iso?mod time=1188857499&big_mirror=1), then burn the ISO with your favorite CD burning software. Then boot to it, and when you reach the console, type

fdisk -l

to determine what device you have, then do:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/(the device) bs=4096

Alternatively, you could do:

mkdir /mnt/ntfsmnt
ntfs-3g /dev/(the device) /mnt/ntfsmnt
rm -rf /mnt/ntfsmnt

Good luck Wink.

This is the THIRD topic you have made on this, whats wrong with the other damn topics?

If nothing anyone has posted so far worked (assuming you even bothered trying them) then you need to reinstall windows.

Heres the real way how to fix it, and this method works 100% of the time and is free and easy and works in less than a minute!

1. Get a cup of cold water
2. Turn on your PC
3. open the left side so you can see everything inside
4. put the cup of water inside the PC anywhere it will sit standing
5. put the lid back on
6. tilt the PC over to it's side and watch it burn and fry

VIRUS IS GONE, and so is your motherboard.

I dont, because it has viruses, every file on his PC is screwed because of the viruses he has, he doesnt have a single anti virus installed meaning, he can get virusses without knowing it.

Another way to fix your PC is to fill a bathtub full of water, then stick the computer in it, it will clean the "viruses" off the PC's harddrive, this works just as good as any other method, MAKE SURE THE PC IS UNPLUGGED OR THE PC WILL BE DAMAGED.

although dipping a PC into water is already bad enough and will screw it

Maybe someone really should try to help him instead of giving abuse all the time.

I've helped him like 5 times, he ignores it and says my methods dont work, installing anti virus doesnt work, nothing works for him, me and jamie have done alot and he ignores us and still ask us how to fix his PC...it's annoying.

FORMAT YOUR PC!

Here's how.
  • Goto Start and click Run.
  • In the new window type "cmd" without the quotation marks and press enter.
  • In the new black dialog type "format c:" without the quotation marks again and press enter.
  • Type "y" and press enter.
  • Type "y" and press enter.

Leave it for about an hour, then come back. Your viruses will be gone.

Where have I heard about that before?

Oh yes, a phony AOL support tech called this women, and told her to remove porn from her company cause her AOL client detected porno, and he told her a weird way to reformat her pc without her knowing, and it ended up as "hey lady, how does it feel to have your computer pwnt"

That does work actually, it skips alot of hassle of clicking, formating will solve all issues, then just reinstall windows, download avg, turn firewall on, and your set to go, and megro...he isnt going to read it, i've tried sooo many times with step by step...all failed cause he doesnt read.
