Tbh the race doesn't have to be that advanced, heck once we get quantum computers in say 10-20 years we will be able to do it ourselves....

OBTW, the other day I saw an article in the newspaper. And you know how you said religion is the basis of all evil? The article said that people who have a religion seem to be a lot happier than those who don't.
