If we had to ban all who ever cheated or ever created a cheat (obj3cts and such) then I don't think there would be many members left here (sad fact).

Where can I purchase an SLI connector?
The SLI connector is included with all NVIDIA SLI-Ready motherboards and with all SLI-Ready PCs. If your motherboard supports SLI technology and did not come with this connector, please contact the manufacturer of your motherboard or PC to obtain an SLI connector.

IF you want a stable system, dont bother with SLI. Most motherboards that are so called "SLI" actually are just barely able to run 2 GPU's, and story with PSU's. Also, SLI means no overclocking unless your motherboard has PCI/AGP locks, and even then alot of things can go wrong. I returned my 2 mid range SLI cards, in exchange bought 1 high end card. Btw, if your using XP, it not meant for SLI, so things like chkdsk/f on bootup wont work, loading up safemode doesnt show, and little things like that give everyone problems Whats That

I've never had problems with any of that stuff... ??? My SLI works fine. I have dual 7900GTs on a Asus M2n32 SLI-Deluxe Mobo. Except for overheating they are pretty stable.

Not everything is as it appears
Untouchable
What troop is talking about is cheap boards that are not true SLI. The ones that run the vid cards at half to make it work and seem cool. What dotile has it a real SLI board that actually uses both cards fully. But they tend to run quit a few more bucks. I have one 8800GTS and see no reason to add a second one. Even though I could.

But to answer your original qestion both my vid card and mother board both came with that stupid connector. What my video card didn't come with was the power adapter I needed (assholes). So I just bought a better power supply with the plug already on it lol.

over heating vid cards = bad fyi.

Dude wtf you talking about. If you have a SLI setup and you want to overclock both cards you don't need to have a PCI and/or AGP locks because you're not using them for graphics. You don't even overclock the graphics card via BIOS. So it wouldn't apply anyways.

To answer your question joe. The SLI adaptor comes with the SLI motherboard.

Sorta. My Mainboard is 1 of the most expensive SLI boards asus sells, the a8n sli deluxe. Its got the EZ connector/bridge, EZ Power plug, which is just the molex connecotor to the mobo vs a pci-e connector from the PSU, and they have spaced it out 3 slots in between for cooling, but even with individual heatsinks and fans on both my gpu's, with overclocking, my system would hang at boot. That with OCZ StealthXStream 600W PSU (so thats not the issue), nor is the motherboard. Yet my single card runs about 7C cooler and takes up less space, and I can see my chkdsk In Love

The bridge shouldn't come with your video cards. They'll come packaged with your motherboard.

If not you can get them off any computer website for like... five dollars. They're not hard to find.
