Core Patch 2 Download Error [message #281004]

I'm downloading the patch through the client. It downloads for a while and the suddenly it brings up a message that simply has a red X and says "Error." and that's it. I don't know what the problem is but I'm not sure that CP1 is installed since I haven't played Renegade in a while.
Other info: if you click ok on the error message the download sits there and underneath the progress bar it says "Now Unzipping patchall.zip" and it never does anything else.

Any help?
