First off, decide whether you want to create the clan or join an existing one.
Create a 'warrior account' on the renegade league - http://clanwars.cc/?league=25
If you want to make your own clan, go ahead (login >> Create Clan) otherwise ask the leader of an existing clan to invite you.
To get games, best way is to post on the Smak Forums - http://smak.clanwars.cc , tell people your MSN and say you want clanwars. If people say "hi pgun" upon your first post, ignore it.

I'm not aware of any other ladders/leagues for Renegade clans.
If he wants to create/join a clan without clanwars being statistically tracked, then no problem.

And isn't clanwars.cc the official Renegade ladder at the moment. I remember reading something like that on the MOTD when going into Renegade. I dunno if it's still there because it has been 2 months since I've played Renegade.

Technically no... the official one is the one which hasn't worked since XWIS and was shaky as hell for some time even before that. XWIS were nice enough to give us a link on the MotD, though.
It may not be the 'official' clan ladder for Renegade, but until someone makes another or gets the official one working again, that's probably how most people will see it.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I wanted to make my own clan including only people I personally know. But I still need more help. I made an account for Clanwars in general, but I don't know how to make a "warrior's" account for Renegade. I put in the nickname I want (Parasol Kirby), then click the Join this League button, but it just takes me to the main page! What's up with that?
