I was forced to go at 9:00 to a Borders and wait 3 FUCKING HOURS OF HORRIBLE BOREDOM to get it with my parents. Then on our way home we stop buy the grocery store and they have a pile of the books with like 2 missing from the stack...
I told my parents to just go to the grocery store and get it cus nobody else would but NOOOOOOO!!
AGH IM SO MAD!!!
So anyway thats my story, how about you?
PS:I don't even read the books...

I got it about 6pm, up to about page 340 in about 2 and a half hours of non-stop reading, currently taking a break to rest my eyes. Enjoying it so far, the books are MUCH better than their film counterparts...

I read the first 5 books before my fucking parents confiscated them and threw them out.
|
WHY????
Are your parents of simple mind? There are worse books out there than the Harry Potter series.
Perhaps they did not want your young mind corrupted with sorcery and witchcraft.
|
No, my parents are just very religious. Maybe they thought I will go buy magic wands and turn my baby brother into a babyfrog...or fly off in a Nimbus 2000. Anyway that was many years ago.
Those who think these books have a negative impact on its readers must be seriously screwed up in the head.

Wow, life must be hard then?
Join the US Army when you can, then you can get away and live your own life.

How would that be living your own life? I don't know any people who dream of one day getting to go to Iraq. You couldn't do shit there, let alone anything you actually want to do.
How would you see Rush Hour 3 if your over there? Just ask them where you can buy tickets, I dare you.

Hmm, my point being is, that hes controls his life, not his Mum or Dad, really sad that they took a story book from him, kinda sad to be honest, lol.
