Hahahaha, Getting aggressive over some simple Visual Basics code? hahaha, Oh man, Your funny, You are funny, Want a cookie for telling a newbie programmer to fuck off?
Oh.. I won't fuck off, Infact I'll keep it up and watch you get pissed off over more simple code, And I'll keep laughing.
Joe: It's some code for Visual Basics 05, But it's nice to see you got a book about C++... I wish you luck as C++ is a pretty hard language to learn, But it's advanced.
Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Pascal + delphi is also entirely unlike C. But yeah C++/C is the best, and make sure you stay miles away from .NET and the std framework.

Most of New Zealand beer (DB, Export, Tui) is brewed round the corner from where I work. ^_^ Coincidentally, there is a Tui pub next door to work as well.
Sorry for derailing the topic, it was far too easy.

Visual Basic doesn't suck. :/ It's a good starter language for beginning programmers. It lets them get the feel for 'real programming' later on when they decide to make a Managed GUI.

What's your reason behind "managed code sucks"?

The best way to go is to just download and look at some C++ code until you can understand what it is doing. And don't be afraid to ask questions.

Don't worry about him asking questions. He's not scared of it.
